Why Taily asks for what it asks for
Taily only requests the data it needs to give you the feature you actually used. The whole list:
- Email and basic profile
- From Google Sign-In or Apple Sign In. Used to create your account, sign you in across devices, and label shared lists so collaborators know who added what.
- Google Calendar, read-only optional
- Only if you enable Calendar Sync. Turns your existing calendar events into Taily tasks so your day is in one place. Taily never writes back to Google Calendar. Revoke any time in the app or in your Google account.
- Push notifications optional
- Granted by your device. Delivers task reminders at the times you've configured. Revoke in device settings without losing data.
We don't sell your data, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across other apps. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
Who builds it
Taily is built and operated by ROSCODE TECH (PTY) LTD, an independent software company based in South Africa. The web app and backend are served from gettaily.app, a domain we own and verify directly. Any question, drop a line: roscoe@roscodetech.com.
